The programme emphasises evidence-based strategies and practical applications related to sleep behaviours, neurobiology, and effective methods for improving sleep quality. Course Price

The full fee for the programme is £1,680.

Entry onto the programme can be bought either as a one time up front payment, or through instalments (across 12 months).

Instalments: Spread the cost when you opt for our instalment plan – pay an initial £140 registration fee, followed by 11 fruther monthly payments of £140 (total £1680 – zero interest).

Pay upfront: Alternatively, you can pay the whole fee up front. If you book more than 1 month ahead, you only need to pay the booking deposit of £300, with the balance to be settled 2 weeks prior to the start of the course. And, you will qualify for a discount of £85.

Course Duration
The programme spans 3 months and includes 10 weekly live and interactive sessions, along with a dedicated block of 6 weeks after the final live session in order to complete assignments.
Course Location
Live remote training in our virtual classroom.
Course Delivery
The course is delivered live in our virtual classroom through a series of weekly sessions, allowing for maximum student participation and interaction. Sessions are recorded, so students can watch them again, or catch up should they miss a session. Attendance is encouraged, but not mandatory to complete the course. Each cohort is also invited to join a private support group, which facilitates interaction with other students and the Sleep Practitioner Programme team outside of the live sessions.
Prerequisites

This programme draws on prior understanding and experience of baby and child sleep so learners should have significant experience of working with both babies and children.

How will I be assessed?

You will receive details of assignments at the start the programme, along with details of the submission deadline. This will be 6 weeks after the final live session.

Once tour submission has been reviewed and marked, you will be given feedback. Should your work not meet the mark to pass the course, you will be given an opportunity to resubmit your work. Once your written work has passed, you will be invited for a 30 minute viva, an oral assessment with our trainers.

 

Extensions: If you are unable to complete your assignments within the given timeframe, you may apply for an extension by providing a detailed explanation of your circumstances.

Accreditation
The course is accredited by OCN (Credit4Learning), at level 6. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate form OCN, the awarding body, and also one from the school denoting your passing grade of Pass, Merit or Distinction.

    How long is the programme?

    The programme duration is 16 weeks.

    This is made up of 10 live sessions, held weekly, followed by 6 weeks to complete assignments

    Are there any pre-requisites for the programme?

    The programme draws on prior understanding and experience of baby and child sleep, so learners should have experience of working with both babies and children.

    There are no required qualifications. However, a good level of English is necessary.

    Additionally, you will need a device (PC, tablet etc) with a reliable internet connection to participate in the sessions.

    Does the programme allow me to work as a qualified sleep practitioner?

    The titles of sleep coach, sleep consultant and sleep practitioner are not regulated, so there is no legal requirement for formal training before working in these roles.

    However, this programme is accredited by OCN at level 6, and, upon completion, you will receive certification as a  sleep practitioner, providing you with formal recognition and the credentials to work  professionally in the field.

    I live abroad – can I attend the programme?

    Yes! We welcome students from around the world. Our programme  has successfully
    accommodated learners from across Europe as well as further afield including USA, Singapore, Armenia, Argentina and Hong Kong, to name a few.

    To offer greater flexibility, we host live sessions virtually and alternate our intakes between weekday evenings and Saturday mornings to suit various time zones. This ensures that international students can participate comfortably

    What if I’m unable to attend every session?

    All live sessions are recorded, allowing you to revisit previous sessions or catch up on any you may have missed.

    What support is available during the programme?

    Upon starting, you will be invited to a dedicated WhatsApp group only for your intake and the the training team.

    Additionally, you will also be eligible to join our private Facebook group for past and present students.

    The WhatsApp group is particularly popular, and our trainers are available to provide
    support and assistance as you progress through your course.

    Will I get any support after I finish?

    Yes, you will continue to be a member of the private Facebook group with past alumni and trainers. This forum is a valuable resource for building confidence and receiving ongoing support as you take your first steps in your career.

    I see this course is OCN Level 6. What does that mean?

    Level 6 provides recognition of training that is at a level equivalent to a degree. However, the nature of the programme is of a more vocational nature so direct comparisons are difficult to make.

    At this level, students will show competence, which involves the application of knowledge and skills in a broad range of complex, technical, or professional work activities performed in a wide variety of contexts and with a substantial degree of personal responsibility and autonomy.
