DBS check service

Schedule your appointment for your DBS check (you will receive a link to do this after purchasing)

The interview will require you to present originals of your documents:

• Valid and up to date passport OR UK driving license (this can be a provisional one) OR Permanent Residence Card OR Biometric Residence Permit
• Two proofs of your current UK address e.g. bank statement or utility bill (this must be no older than 3 months)

Once your Virtual ID check is complete you will receive an email from the DBS Check service to complete your application. Once completed, we will validate the check and send it off. After 2-3 days we will have a tracking number for your application, which we can email to you upon request, if you want to view your application status which can be done through this page

Once the check has been completed you should subscribe to the update service, which allows you to keep up-to-date with your check for an annual subscription of £13 a year. We will supply you with an application reference number which allows you to subscribe via the online DBS update service. We advise you do this immediately once you have your application reference number and not to wait until you have your paper copy. The online DBS update service must be joined within 28 days, otherwise you will not be able to register for the service for that year and you will need to go through the DBS application process again.
