About the Course

Childminders provide childcare and early education in their home, caring for small cohorts of children spanning various ages and backgrounds.

The standards for childminders are predominantly established by Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills), the government agency tasked with overseeing and supervising services dedicated to the well-being of children and young individuals. Ofsted establishes guidelines and rules that childminders are obliged to adhere to, ensuring the safety, welfare, and appropriate growth of the children under their supervision.  Our course readies you to meet Ofsted’s guidelines.

Duration: The course should take around 60 hours to complete.
