Schemas in Children’s Play

This workshop will provide you with the fundamentals of how young children learn through schematic play. You will become familiar with play theories which underpin how children explore the world around them and how this plays a big part in helping children to learn.

Learners will become familiar with the different types of schematic play children most commonly display. Discuss how to identify and interpret repeated actions and behaviours and how to provide opportunities to build on children’s interests and develop new skills.

I really enjoyed the course. The information was structured very granular and clear and the slides were visualising very well all the input. The knowledge shared was very insightful and brought me further in my mission to help parents and educators understand better the development of the toddlers and the young children.
