This workshop will equip learners with the knowledge and techniques to best support children with autism. The workshop will look at autism and self-regulation in the context of Early Years, special educational needs, child development, social work, psychology and occupational therapy. You will discuss the fundamentals of the different stages of child development, which will enable learners to identify developmental markers and milestones. Learners will understand how self-regulation strategies can help autistic children to manage and understand their own feelings and behaviours.
